Smith Family

On one of my trips to Kansas City this past July the Smith family had me over to photograph there two little guys! They had a great wooded area they picked out right behind their house.  It was a beautiful sunny day out so the shade worked perfectly.   We also took a bunch of the boys inside their house.  It always works wonders when I photograph kiddos in their own environment.  I just love it because they show me all their cool toys and they are so proud!

Big brother Tyler isn't he handsome?
Look at those cheeks, blue eyes, and amazing smile!

Tyler was so funny he just laughed and laughed!!  I love this one.
Mr. Bradyman doing soooo BIG! :)
The entire lovely family!  Thanks Smith family for sharing your boys with me!

GO ISU!

3 Months of Cuteness!

On a trip to Des Moines this past November I got the pleasure of getting to photograph my best friend from high school's new bundle of joy. Baby Addison is all of 3 months old and just a cute patootie! Her parents are so proud to have this sweet little angel! I am sure most of you know I too have a daughter. We have already planned these two are going to be the best of friends and they don't even know it yet :)
This is my favorite one from the session! She sure is pretty in pink!

Look at that expression - love that sweet tongue sticking out!  Love all her hair...just perfect for a bow!
Sleepy baby.
Aren't her eyes just precious.
Proud Mommy and Daddy!

Thank for the fun evening guys!  We can't for the girls to get together for a play date the next time we are in Des Moines.

Shelton Family

The Shelton family were the winners of a gift certificate I donated to a local hospital golf outing. I love to donate GCs to many local events and charities and always look forward to meeting the recipients, as they are always the most giving, and caring families! The Shelton family is no exception! Grandpa and Grandma Shelton are very lucky to have 3 amazingly sweet grand babies with a new one on the way. This family chose a beautiful location tucked right behind their house.  I just love when families pick a location or items that have meaning to them when they look back at the photographs we captured.

The whole lovely family.....

Poston Family & Happy 1st Birthday Miss Anistyn

Well - It looks as if I have been getting a little behind on posting all the fun sessions I have been doing.  Its time to start getting caught up.  Back in August I had the pleasure of photographing the Poston family!  I love getting to help celebrate a little ones first milestone.  You can see by the pictures below that Miss Anistyn sure enjoyed her cake....even when it was all over her toes...so cute! Anistyn is one lucky little girl because you could just see how much love her big brother Hunter and big sister Karsyn had for her.  The image below was a large canvas wrap they had made for their home.  I think it couldn't have turned out more beautiful!

Pure sweetness!  Anistyn turned and looked at the camera the last second.  I love how her beautiful family is just adoring her.

Isn't this about the cutest thing you have ever seen!  She just cuddled right up to her blankie and loved that thumb!

This collage makes me giggle every time I look at it.  We had so much fun capturing this!  Of course this took place at the end of the session and it was getting pretty late at this time....but she didn't care she laughed through the whole thing!
Miss flexibility!  The cake was good even if it was straight off the big toe!
Oh....I almost forgot since it is sooo cold out here in Iowa right now.  When we did this session it was the hottest day of the summer.  It was around 100 degrees with almost 100% humidity.  Thanks Poston family for having me over to photograph your beautiful family.  You are really raising some amazing kids.  All the energy they had sure made my job easy and sooo much fun!
